I am Shannon Sisco and this is my second semester in graduate school at Alabama State University (Summer 2009).  I am taking three courses this summer: LEM 500, LEM 508, and EDT 574.  I am currently a 4th grade teacher at Calera Middle School.  In the fall it will be my third year of teaching.  I have also taught third grade and kindergarten.  I have my bachelors degree in elementary education from Auburn University.  I enjoy reading and hope that my degree in library media will help me encourage and motivate the students in my classroom not only in reading, but with technology.  I am married to Donny and we do not have any children...yet!  I am trying to get through graduate school first.  We live in Montevallo, Alabama.  Donny is a farmer and a firefighter for the City of Pelham.
