Greetings!  My name is Nickki Bandy I live in Union Springs, Alabama.  I am the proud mother of a handsome baby boy named Christopher Blake. I recieved my BS degree in Elementary Education in 2004 from the world renowned Alabama State University.  After graduating from Alabama State University, I recieved a job in Macon County where I have been for five years.  I teach second grade at George Washington Carver Elementary School. In the previous years of my teaching experience I  have taught fifth and third grade.  This semester is my first semester as a graduate student. I am currently enrolled in LEM 511 and 512.  I know that my educational journey in Library Media will be one that will last a lifetime.  I am looking forward to a successful carreer as a Library Media Specialist. It was stated best by the words none other than the renowned educator John Dewey when he said, Education is not prepartion for life; education is life itself.
