Project 6:  Media Specialist Interviews
Automation Systems Used

Athena is used throughout Conecuh County as of now.  It is used at each school as a stand alone system whereas the libraries are not linked and all information is entered by each individual LMS.  Athena allows the LMS's to catalog, maintain, organize and classify pertinent information for their own library.  It is now supported by Follet Software Company and not available for new purchases.

The Greenville-Butler County Public Library uses Concourse from BookSystems.  It is a stand alone system which is used by many public library systems in Alabama.  Concourse is very easy for patrons as well as library employees to use, however it is difficult for inventory use.
