Hi! My name is Jada Meadows.  I am currently a second grade teacher at George Washington Carver Elementary School in Tuskegee, AL.  I have also taught first grade.   I am heading into my tenth year of teaching YEA!!! Every year is a new experience! I am proud to say this year; I had the honor of taking 23 well deserving 3rd grade Academic Scholars Club  students to the Magical World of Disney (Basically Free for the Kids J !!).   We participated in the YES program (Youth Education Series) for 4 days and 3 nights. This trip could not have taken place if it wasn't for our supporting community. Hopefully this will be an annual trip.  A little more about me, in May of 2000, I received my B.S. from Alabama A&M University and on May 2007 my M.ED from Alabama State University also in Early Childhood Education.  Last year, I was so excited about being back in school for Library Media.  My first online courses were LEM 511 and LEM 512. But, getting ill and planning this trip it got to be a little hard in the end.  I quickly learned that this take real self discipline.   Now I'm enrolled in LEM 500 and 508.   Looking forward for another great semester!!
