Information Skills and Technology Inservice

As the library media specialist of your school, you will often do double duty as the technology guru. In this project, you will develop your familiarity with the application of the emerging technologies of our era as well as develop techniques to teach faculty how to use this technology to enhance instruction. The final project for this assignment will consist of a narrative description, a PowerPoint presentation, and handouts. You are required to use the ideas from the Tools and Learning Spaces (thanks to Annette Lamb here--isn't she great?). Your inservice will be one hour in length. Plan your activities accordingly.

Amy's PowerPoint Presentation - Emerging Technologies.ppt - My PowerPoint is all inclusive in that I have included links to activity sheets I would, lesson plans and other useful websites. The participants would get a copy of the PowerPoint so they could make use of it at a later date and get all of the added information.
