My name is Chalice Tillis. I received my BS in Early Childhood Education at Troy Dothan. For seventeen great years I worked as a kindergarten teacher. Kindergarten was my first "educational" love. The only other job I could see myself in was the library. Finding that perfect book for a theme or project we were working on was so much fun. Bringing books to life for children and helping them make connections with the story is so satisfying. This year is my first year in the library. So far its been great! I started on my Masters in the Fall of 2002. Due to some unforseen circumstances I had to cut short the completion of my degree. My last class was in 2004. I'm glad to be back  at ASU and this time I'll get finished! 

Being a librarian fits in nicely with my favorite pastime.....READING!  When of course I'm not at a baseball game with my sons.
