Chalice's PowerPoint Presentation

 Narrative for Technology In Service:

         I chose to do my PowerPoint presentation on wikis. The chose wikis because I believe the staff at my school would use this web 2.0 tool more than some of the others because of availability reasons. We also are blocked from being able to use many of the other Web 2.0 tools.  I will introduced what a wiki is, how to create a wiki account, and how to use the wiki in the classroom. They will view a video deomstrating how to set up a wiki page for their classrooms and watch a You Tube presentation on how a to incorporate the wiki in a first grade class. My objective for this project is to convince the teachers that wikis are very powerful tools that can be used to teach the state standards across the curriculum.

Activities one: Watch a You Tube Presentation.
