This system focuses on independent operation and control.  Small libraries and school library media centers install and maintain its own computer based system.  The software is stored on a server and can be networked on several other computers in or around the school.  This system is cost-effective because it does not require a subscription.  It is a one time cost except for updates.

Book Systems is the developer of the library automation software Concourse.  It has been providing affortable software for more than 2 decades.  This company is located in Huntsville, Alabama.

Concourse

 

Concourse is an individualized site-based program and is Window based.  It is easy-to-use and navigate.  Circulation is quick and accurate,  Cataloging is simple.  Reports are unique and fast to generate.  Filters allow you to get just the information you want.  Book Systems provides you with a free demostration kit.

EZCat

 

EZCat is a cataloging tool that works with Concourse.  It is Internet-based which allows you to access MARC 21 records free of charge.  It includes cataloging data for books, videos, audios, computer files, etc.
